Passion is like a storm that changes abruptly normalcy. A lot of people are scared when it appears, because definitely it will destroy all things it finds in its path.
None of us wants a chaotic life. That is why most of the time a lot of people keep that threat under control, and are somehow capable of sustaining a structure that is already rotten. They are replacements of the past builders.
Other people think differently: they surrender immediately, hoping to find in passion the solution to all their problems. They make the other person responsible for their happiness and blame them for their possible unhappiness. They are either euphoric because something marvelous has happened or depressed because something unexpected has just ruined everything.
Now, I don’t know which is more destructive – Keeping passion at bay or surrendering blindly to it.
